ARCA was challenged to institute an education curriculum that would benefit all members. The idea behind the program is to provide education that will benefit the new person just entering the industry along with anyone already in the industry no matter the experience.

This program will allow each participant to achieve accreditation in his or her field and allow them to grow with the industry learning other aspects of the roofing trade. These accreditations will allow the workers and the contractors to market themselves showing the rest of the community and industry that they have the education, skill, experience and knowledge to install roofs that comply with rules and regulations. With this in mind we have created a program that will meet the industry standards and code requirements.

Our fifth course on Metal Flashing Fabrication Class will offer the opportunity to learn:

• How to measure, design and fabricate metal flashings
• How to cut, rivet, seal and solder sheet metal flashings
• And, how to use liquid flashings
