The new tax reform law, commonly called the “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act” (TCJA), is the biggest federal tax law overhaul in 31 years, and it has both good and bad news for taxpayers. Most of the changes are effective for tax years beginning after December 31, 2017 and are currently set to expire in 2025. This presentation will assist you in understanding the applicable individual tax law changes as well as the effects on business taxes. Unlike recent changes to the tax code, this reform affects almost everyone.

Even with all of the changes, every taxpayer will be affected differently based on their individual circumstances. During this presentation, we will discuss the pros and cons, advantages and disadvantages for several key aspects of the TCJA. Tax reform has been used in the past, either directly or indirectly, to change consumer and economic behavior. The TCJA is no different. This presentation will help you make decisions that are more proactive than reactive.
